JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO, Texas –
The 5th Recruiting Brigade’s Unit Ministry Team hosted a “Backyard Bowl” on the sports field at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston Feb. 3.
Just like last year before the Super Bowl, the “Backyard Bowl II” ultimate football game was between the Warriors of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 5th Recruiting Brigade and the Tigers of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, San Antonio Recruiting Battalion.
More than 55 team members participated. After the game, Lt. Col. Kevin Bouren, San Antonio Recruiting Battalion commander, gave the group an inspirational team-building message.
The San Antonio Recruiting Battalion Tigers took home the trophy.
