New JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Exchange opens first stores, restaurants

The new 210,000-square-foot Exchange center, located on Funston Road, will include a main exchange, which is scheduled for a ribbon-cutting opening April 15. Because of COVID-19 restrictions, the ribbon-cutting will be limited to JBSA leaders and AAFES representatives.

Third annual Spring Motorcycle Focus kicks off

The Department of the Air Force is kicking off the third annual Spring PMV-2 Focus March 21, with the goal of reaching all military motorcycle riders. Efforts will concentrate on updating rider information in the Motorcycle Unit Safety Tracking Tool, including validation that training requirements are being met and ensuring all riders schedule and attend overdue training.
