JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas - Eight newly established centers under Air Education and Training Command have declared Initial Operational Capability (IOC), marking a significant milestone in the command’s efforts to reoptimize the Department of the Air Force for Great Power Competition. The U.S. Air Force Accessions Center, five Technical Training Centers of Excellence, and the Enterprise Learning Engineering CoE all declared IOC on Dec. 1, 2024, while the Flying Training CoE declared IOC on Oct. 1, 2024.
