Vision: The Wing's vision is to achieve "The Training Standard of Excellence" across its five groups. The Wing operates schools at nine locations throughout the United States with most of its training conducted at Lackland. The Wing trains Airmen, other military services, government agencies, coalition partners from over 100 countries and military working dogs.

 

The wing consists of three flying groups, the 12th Operations Group at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas, the 306th Flying Training Group at U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado, and the 479th Flying Training Group at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida, as well as a maintenance directorate which operates in at JBSA-Randolph and NAS Pensacola.
