Joint Base San Antonio Gate Information

Person(s) not in possession of a valid Department of War Common Access Card (CAC), identification and privilege card, or locally issued DBIDS pass, or access credential MUST REPORT to one of the Joint Base San Antonio Visitor Control Centers.

Criminal background checks will be conducted on ALL individuals requesting access to any JBSA installation. Refer to the Negative Fitness Matrix for a list of criminal offenses that may prevent installation access.

BAMC Beach Gate: 6 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.; 3 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (outbound only), Monday - Friday
BAMC/I-35 Commercial Gate: 6 a.m. - 1 p.m., Monday - Friday
BAMC/I-35: 24/7
BAMC/I-35 VCC: 24/7
Harry Wurzbach East: 24/7
Harry Wurzbach West Gate: CLOSED
Jadwin Commercial Gate: 6 a.m. - 1 p.m., Monday - Friday
JBSA-Camp Bullis: 24/7
New Braunfels Gate: 6 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. (two lanes inbound only), 3 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (outbound only), Monday - Friday
Quadrangle Pedestrian Portal: 24/7 for members with registered Common Access Card. CACs can be registered at BDOC. 
Quadrangle Pedestrian Gate: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday-Friday
Schofield: 6 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday-Friday
Walters Gate: 24/7
Walters VCC: 7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday - Friday
Wilson Gate: CLOSED
Winans Gate: 6 a.m. - 9 a.m., 3 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (outbound only) Monday - Friday
