FLEET ACTIVITIES YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 15, 2026) -- Most of the scaffolding is removed from the site for the new Unaccompanied Housing unit near Green Beach Pool as seen April 15, 2026 onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan. The eight-floor, 198-module complex is set to serve approximately 400 Sailors. Additional plans for three more UH complexes are also scheduled as part of an overhaul to expand and modernize housing facilities for unaccompanied Sailors assigned to Yokosuka. Other projects include a $1.3 million flooring renovation, $15 million mechanical and electrical system upgrades, $4 million weather-sealing project, and an unmanned, Navy Exchange Micro-Mart.
