Army updates Chaplain Corps uniforms
260626-A-AD014-1001.JPG Photo By: Sgt. Justin Rachal

The Department of the Army released implementation guidance for the Army Chaplains Corps uniform and maternity tunic reform, Washington, D.C., June 25, 2026. The update, following guidance from the Department of War, removes the rank insignia from the chest of the Army Combat Uniform and places the chaplain insignia on the collars of the Army Combat Uniform. The update will emphasize chaplain's role as religious leaders and pastoral care providers across the force. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Justin Rachal)
