Washington - A dedication stone outside the Mall Entrance at the Pentagon is engraved with the words "War Department" at the top, along with the names of those who were involved in some way with the construction of the Pentagon, including then-President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and then-Secretary of War Henry L. Stimson.
