JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas - Victoria Morgan teaching the team about the common causes of cardiac arrest, known as the ‘H’s and T’s,’ which help teams quickly identify and treat life threatening problems during heart surgery emergencies during the Surgical Cardiac Unit Advanced Life Support training at Brooke Army Medical Center, Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas, Aug. 20, 2025. The CSU-ALS training is designed to equip nurses, advanced practice providers, and other frontline clinicians with advanced skills and evidence-based protocols specific to the needs of post-operative cardiac patients.
