(Dr.) Megan Donahue, chief of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and assistant professor of pediatrics, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, instructs students in the Military Medical Humanitarian Assistance Course, at Brooke Army Medical Center, Joint Base San Antonio – Fort Sam Houston, Texas, Feb. 25, 2025. The Military Medical Humanitarian Assistance Course focuses on understanding the unique health challenges military medical personnel may face in austere environments such as diarrhea and dehydration, malnutrition, epidemic measles, malaria, and respiratory infections.
