JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas - During an unveiling ceremony at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Col. Daniel D. Bridon, Director, Training and Doctrine, U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence, discuses how the Learning Technology and Multimedia Division’s MEDVID Branch (MEDVID TV) new mobile production studio will modernize training and education video content with high-quality digital multimedia products. The new state-of-the-art mobile studio is housed inside a commercial cargo van and features 4K quality advanced camera connectivity, two-way communication between the cameras and the van, and allows advanced camera control for color matching. The new studio replaces a 22-year-old truck that had outdated equipment and was prone to electrical and mechanical breakdowns. With this new studio MEDVID TV will produce training content for MEDCoE, Office of the Surgeon General and U.S. Army Medical Command, and the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command.
