USAISR’s Valdes Bounces Back from Injury to Earn Expert Field Medical Badge

FORT DETRICK, Maryland - Sgt. Andy Valdes (right) of the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research, and Staff Sgt. Tyler Nace (left) of the U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine catch their breath after completing the 12-mile ruck march component of the Expert Field Medical Badge test in May. Both Valdes and Nace passed the test and earned their EFMB; Valdes achieved a perfect score.
