USAMTEAC tests new capability of ultrasound field portable for operational use

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-CAMP BULLIS, Texas - Staff Sgt. Nathan Werlinger, a 68W Combat Medic, practices using an ultrasound field portable device at Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis, Texas, during an operational test conducted by the U.S. Army Medical Evaluation Test Activity on Mar. 27, 2024. He was one of 14 test players who had the opportunity to use three separate ultrasound field portable devices. During the operational test, USAMTEAC recorded observations and complied data for a test report that will be given to the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity (USAMMDA)/Warfighter Expeditionary Medicine and Treatment (WEMT) Project Management Office for review and possible deployment to Army units.
