Sprunger, command sergeant major of the U.S. Army Medical Command, shares his thoughts on the importance of building relationships during the Army Medicine Sergeants Major summit January 16-19, 2024, on JBSA-Fort Sam Houston, Texas. More than 170 chief medical noncommissioned officers, 68Z, came together to discuss the U.S. Army’s shift from brigade-centric warfare to large-scale combat operations, multi-domain operations, force modernization and the role of Army medicine enlisted professionals to better meet evolving role of Army Medicine within the Total Force.
