Flight nurse from Greece comes to civilian’s aid during medical emergency
JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas - Orlando Dona, Air Force Security Assistance Training Squadron Country Manager, personally thanks Capt. Aikaterini Sigala, August 4, 2023, for her heroic actions. Sigala administered first aid to a maintenance worker who had experienced a fall as the result of an epileptic seizure. The 13-year flight nurse is a member of the Hellenic Air Force and currently a student at the Defense Language Institute English Language Center. (U.S. Air Force photo by Spencer Berry)
