JBSA honors fallen military law enforcement officers at close of National Police Week

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas - Staff Sgt. Jeremy Llanes, 502nd Security Forces Squadron, unit deployment manager, performs a final roll call reading the names of fallen defenders and Office of Special Investigations agents who died in the line of duty during police week closing ceremony at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, May 19, 2023. Following the reading of the names a moment of silence was directed by all as a sign of respect. Over the past 10years, a total of 1,942 law enforcement officers had died in the line of duty.
