N/A - Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Dawayne Patton, left, and Bickiana Patton, also a petty officer 2nd class, hold their newborn Davian Patton. Davian was the first baby born at U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka, Japan, in 2009. The Defense Department has issued new policies for paid, non-chargeable parental leave for service members who have a child through birth, adoption or a long-term foster care placement 24 months.
