JOINT BASE McGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST - U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Danny Gonzalez, Recruiting and Retention Command, New Jersey Army National Guard, carries two 40-pound kettlebells during the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, Dec. 19, 2018. The New Jersey Soldiers are being trained for their level 2 certification, which will enable them to serve as the noncommissioned officer in charge of the test and grade Soldiers being tested. The ACFT consists of six events: strength deadlift; standing power throw; hand release pushup; sprint, drag, carry; leg tuck; and a two-mile run.
