BAMC Interventional Radiology offers less invasive option for patients with disc degeneration

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas - U.S. Air Force Maj. (Dr.) Matthew Taon, interventional radiologist, demonstrates a minimally invasive image guided procedure at Brooke Army Medical Center, Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas, March 2, 2023. The new, less invasive option for some patients who have disc degeneration centers on a non-surgical, injectable allograft that uses allogeneic tissue and disc material to repair degenerative discs.
