JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas - A U.S. Air Force basic trainee chow runner from the 331st Training Squadron, Flight 676, reports in to U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Matthew Powell, 331st TRS, Military Training Instructor, and requests permission for his flight to enter the dining facility Sept. 20, 2022, at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, while other MTIs observe and correct procedural errors. Flights must request permission from the "Snake Pit" so there is control of how many flights enter and exit the dining facility ensuring the area does not become overwhelmed with too many people at one time.
