JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas - Each September, National Preparedness Month is observed to emphasize the importance of planning and preparing for emergencies that can impact our homes, families, and communities. It serves as a reminder to plan and prepare for emergencies that could impact our homes, workplace, schools and communities. Planning and preparation are essential in building resiliency and coincide with this year's theme, "A Lasting Legacy.” The life you’ve built is worth protecting. Preparing for disasters creates a lasting legacy for you and your family.
