Interpretative marker for Houston Riot graves unveiled at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Flowers mark the 17 Soldiers’ graves of the 24th Infantry Regiment, who were involved in the Houston Riot of 1917.These Soldiers, and the regiment were recognized with an interpretative marker during an unveiling ceremony held at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio Feb. 22, 2022.
