JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas - Members of the 502nd Air Base Wing barricade a door after hearing simulated gun fire during an active shooter exercise at Joint Base San Antonio–Fort Sam Houston Nov. 18, 2020. The exercise was conducted to educate the unit’s personnel how to better defend themselves if such an event were to happen in real life. Active threat training at Joint Base San Antonio has gone virtual, thanks to the efforts of several 502nd Air Base Wing organizations.
