MEDCoE hosts virtual medical career showcase for Texas high school students

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas - Staff Sgt. Kashina Cavender (center), 68W Combat Medic, describes her reasons for serving and the benefits of his career choice via zoom to an audience of high school students from more than 40 schools across Texas during the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence, or MEDCoE, Virtual Career Showcase Dec. 6. The recruiting event, titled “Endless Possibilities,” was hosted by Maj. Gen. Dennis LeMaster (right), MEDCoE commanding general; Joseph Bray, Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army-Texas, South (left) and Col. LaTonya Jordan, commander, 5th Recruiting Brigade (not pictured).
