RHINE ORDNANCE BARRACKS, Germany - Spc. Rashawn Shepperd (foreground) and Sgt. Oscar Caro, draw syringes that will be used to administer measles, mumps and rubella syringes and chickenpox syringes to Afghan evacuees at Rhine Ordnance Barracks, Germany, Sept. 18. A diverse team of Army medical professionals vaccinated nearly 5,500 Afghan evacuees in less than 72 hours at ROB to protect them from the diseases and to help ensure the health and well-being of the military and local communities. Sheppard is a medical laboratory specialist assigned to the Ansbach Army Health Clinic and Caro is a medical laboratory specialist, assigned to Public Health Command Europe.
