JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas - Army Lt. Gen. Ronald J. Place, Director, Defense Health Agency, speaks at the San Antonio Market establishment ceremony at Brooke Army Medical Center, Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston July 16. Establishing markets allows military medical treatment facilities to improve coordination with each other. They work with local, federal, state and civilian health entities to improve patient services.
