Members of the 413th Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear, or CBRN, Company, a U.S. Army Reserve unit from Florence, S.C., decontaminate a simulated casualty during a joint training exercise at Jacobi Hospital in New York City, Sept. 28. The training, planned by the U.S. Army North Civil Support Training Activity, incorporated elements from the U.S. Army Reserve, New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority, and New York City Emergency Management, and was geared toward creating a holistic response effort that helped test the core competencies of Defense Support of Civil Authorities mission in a CBRN response.
