Twelve Soldiers from around the United States travelled to Joint Base San Atonio-Camp Bullis to compete in the U.S. Army Drill Sergeant of the Year competition. For four days, competitors who have been selected to represent their training centers, must perform and master all associated Warrior tasks and drills from Basic Combat Training. To win, and be named the Drill Sergeant of the Year, they must not only be experts in training Soldiers, but also demonstrate that they are the best of the best and rise above the fierce competition.
