Army Medical Department Center & School, Health Readiness Center of Excellence students participate in a field training exercise for the Captains Career Course at Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis May 7. During the exercise, the students were part of a medical brigade putting together a disaster relief plan to support and help civil authorities responding to a hurricane that hit Houston. Students in the nine-week Captains Career Course learn about and undergo hands-on training on concepts, processes and skills to prepare them to lead medical units in support of ground combat operations and assisting civil authorities in emergency situations.
