SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Civilian personnel assigned to the Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command, or NMOC, headquartered at the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi speak with students of Sam Houston High School during Navy Week San Antonio, Feb. 19-25. The NMOC provides environmental information to help naval and joint forces operate more safely and effectively, and make better decisions faster than the adversary. Every year, America's Navy comes home to approximately 15 cities across the country to show Americans why having a strong Navy is critical to the American way of life.
