Staff Sgt. Heath Conde, 902nd Security Forces Squadron NCO in charge of police services, holds a photo of his grandfather, Army Staff Sgt. Felix Conde-Falcon, and the Congressional Medal of Honor he was posthumously awarded August 7, 2017, at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. Felix Conde was killed in action April 4, 1969, in Vietnam after destroying multiple enemy bunkers.
