The Joint Base San Antonio Military Fiesta Ambassadors are pictured at the Air Force Basic Training Graduation Parade April. 21, 2017, at JBSA-Lackland. The servicemembers from each branch of the military across JBSA will represent their respective services at events associated with Fiesta San Antonio such as participating in parades, visiting schools and nursing homes and retirement facilities. Fiesta San Antonio is a 10-day celebration of military history to honor the life and memory of the members who died in the Battle of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. Beginning in 1891 as a one-day parade event, Fiesta San Antonio has evolved into a 10-day festival celebrating the heritage and history of San Antonio and the vast military community.
