As a result of his experience, Combs has become a regular blood donor and leads blood drives at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph about every 90 days.

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas - Tech. Sgt. Nathan Combs, 902nd Security Forces Squadron NCO in charge of resource protection, won his fight with cancer after being diagnosed with stage II non-seminoma testicular cancer in 2005.
