Senior Airman Oziel Puente, 802nd Security Forces squadron, provides directions after issuing a base passes July 10, 2015 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland’s Gateway East visitor center located along Military Drive. In order to enter JBSA, visitors requesting unescorted entry are required to have a valid form of identification and an authorized sponsor with a valid DoD ID card registered in the DBIDS. Additionally, if driving, the driver must present a valid license with proof of current insurance.  Person(s) not in possession of a Military ID, DOD Civilian or Contractor ID, or current visitor pass must process for a visitor pass through the JBSA Visitor Control Center s.
