Lt. Col. Jonathan Wright accepts the guidon and command of the 502nd Contracting Squadron from Brig. Gen. Bob LaBrutta, 502nd Air Base Wing and Joint Base San Antonio commander, during a change of command ceremony July 10 at the Gateway Club at JBSA-Lackland. Wright, who is a colonel select, was previously the Contingency/Force Management Division deputy, deputy assistant secretary (Contracting), and Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Acquisition) at the Pentagon in Washington D.C.  The outgoing 502nd CONS commander is Lt. Col. Thomas Hoskins, who's next assignment is at the Space and Missile Center at Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif.
