The T-38 anniversary plane parked in front of the Taj, located at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas.  The T-38 has been instrumental in the foundation for United States fighter pilot training.  On March 17, 1961, the T-38 in its original white gloss finish arrived at Randolph Air Force Base and was assigned to what was then, the 3510th Flying Training Wing. Initially used for supersonic jet training, the T-38 began its history training pilots in initial qualification and upgrade training capabilities, teaching more than 70,000 American and international fighter pilots ever since.
