The remains of Spc. Kedith L. Jacobs, 21, of Denver, Colo., arrived at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph June 18. Jacobs died May 27 in Chak-E Wardak District, Afghanistan, when his unit was attacked by enemy forces.  He was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas.  Funeral services will be held at Colonial Funeral Home in Universal City, Texas, followed by internment at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Cemetery.
