FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas — Lt. Gen. William Caldwell IV passes the battalion colors to Lt. Col. Zoltan Krompecher as the Soldiers and civilians of Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, U.S. Army North, witnessed the battalion’s inaugural change of command and change of responsibility ceremony at Fort Sam Houston’s Rehearsal of Concept Drill Facility July 12. Caldwell, the commanding general of U.S. Army North and senior commander of Fort Sam Houston and Camp Bullis, served as the reviewing officer for the ceremony. Krompecher assumed command from Lt.
