The JBSA Connect app is your trusted source to deliver verified information to everyone who trains, works, and lives on Joint Base San Antonio. With the vast digital landscape that encompasses websites and social media, it is more important than ever that we deliver accurate information to those who need it.
You can find the app on your preferred app store, which may vary depending on your device of choice. Simply search JBSA Connect and download it. From the app, you can quickly find useful information like the base status, gate information, and a base directory to help you navigate around JBSA.
These features are great, but how can they be used in your day-to-day life? With more than seven locations that make up JBSA, things can happen that may impact services or gate access. That's when checking the app's base status feature is super helpful for you to plan your visit to the base.
When you get to the base, it is sometimes challenging to find the buildings you need, especially if you're new to JBSA. That's when the base map and directory can help. This feature helps you get directions for the gyms, Child Development Centers, and the exchanges. After locating where you want to go, the app launches your phone's map application so you can then navigate quickly and easily to your destination.
If you're curious about what's happening in the JBSA community, check out the bulletin board. Here, you'll find an assortment of announcements, base events, construction updates, and more, all in one place.
To complement the bulletin board, base leaders can push time-sensitive information to you if you have your notifications turned on. As an example, these push notifications can include information like emergency weather or natural disaster updates to ensure you're getting the most up-to-date information possible. Just go to your phone settings and turn on your notifications for the JBSA Connect app.
