JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas –
Brig. Gen. David P. Garfield, Air Education and Training Command Mobilization Assistant to the Commander, visited Airmen and leadership of the 340th Flying Training Group for a mission briefing at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph on Sep. 27, 2023.
Garfield's briefing included a framework on how the group provides unrivaled instructors to Air Education and Training Command and unmatched support to the newest Reserve aviators.
It also included a framework on how the 340th FTG provides support to AETC's Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training program, Joint Primary Pilot Training, Pilot Instructor Training, Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals, Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training, Undergraduate Flying Training, Basic Military Training and the United States Air Force Academy's Airmanship Programs.
