JBSA-Fort Sam Houston

Dodd Boulevard partial road closure: The roadway will not be fully closed but will transition between work zones from 17 Aug 26 through 21 Aug 26. This work will install underground utilities that cross beneath Dodd Blvd, to support the ongoing MILCON Child Development Center construction project.

Utility work requires traffic to be restricted along Dodd Boulevard as detailed in the traffic control diagrams below. This comprises two phases of work to accomplish the targeted underground utility installation. The execution plan agreed upon by all parties, will be to close one lane of travel at a time in the active area of construction; with flaggers and other traffic control devices placed throughout the area of work to safely direct traffic.
