CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT PAUL Y. MARTIN

Chief Master Sergeant Paul Y. Martin is the Senior Enlisted Advisor for the Academic Division and Interim Command Senior Enlisted Advisor for the Medical Education and Training Campus.  The 126-member unit, he oversees, underpins the Defense Department’s premier tri-service campus responsible for training more than 20,000 soldiers, sailors, and airmen in 51 healthcare sciences per year.  He supervises multiple support facets to include personnel, finance, logistics, facility management, security, safety, information technology, and administration.  Chief Martin advises his director on all matters regarding personnel, operations and the directorate’s overall mission performance.  As a member of the campus’ senior enlisted cadre, he leverages the talents within his unit to transform young Americans into enlisted medical professionals prepared to save lives around the globe.

Chief Martin grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii and enlisted in the Air Force in March 1992.  He has been stationed at a number of locations in California, Texas, and Southwest Asia.  Chief Martin served in a variety of laboratory and management duties as well as being a first sergeant in-garrison and abroad. He was appointed to his current position on July 24, 2013.  Chief Martin is married to Celia and has two daughters, Jenna and Rhea.
