Mr. George A. DeCoux is Director of Staff, 502d Air Base Wing, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. As the 502d ABW senior civilian, he is responsible for daily management and oversight of wing-level resources that impact installation support functions for the three San Antonio area installations that comprise Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston, Lackland Air Force Base, and Randolph Air Force Base. Joint Base San Antonio has a budget of more than $850 million and supports over 96,000 Department of Defense tri-service military, civilians, contractors and students daily. In addition, he provides executive management expertise and advises the 502d ABW Commander and Vice Commander on a broad range of operational issues.
