Caroline Miller (center), 502nd Air Base Wing and Joint Base San Antonio commander, signs the 2021 National Preparedness Month proclamation Aug. 12 at JBSA-Randolph. National Preparedness Month is an observance that occurs each September to raise awareness about the importance of preparing for disasters and emergencies that could happen at any time.
