JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas –

The 502d Logistics Readiness Squadron's Central Issue Facility, or CIF, at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston supports more than 138 military units and distributes more than 450,000 military equipment items throughout JBSA.

New officers going through the Basic Officer Leadership Course recently received items such as helmets, flack vests, canteens and uniforms June 12. This equipment provides service members with functional uniforms and life-saving gear tailored to specific tactical and climatic demands.
