JBSA conservation law enforcement officers seek public's assistance in identifying person of interest at JBSA-Camp Bullis

502d Air Base Wing Public Affairs

Joint Base San Antonio conservation law enforcement officers are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest observed in a restricted training area at JBSA-Camp Bullis during the 2025 government shutdown.

The unidentified individual was photographed carrying technical archery equipment on the military reservation during a timeframe when all recreational programs and public access to the installation were officially suspended.

To aid in the identification process, investigators are highlighting the highly specific gear carried by the individual. The person of interest was photographed with a distinctive, high-performance PSE Mach series compound bow and wearing technical KUIU hunting camouflage.

JBSA Conservation Law Enforcement is specifically calling upon members of the local archery, bowhunting and outdoor communities who might recognize this specific combination of premium gear to assist in the investigation.

Unauthorized range entry forces the immediate suspension of active military training — disrupting critical pre-deployment readiness — while unsanctioned hunting directly undermines JBSA’s wildlife management programs and takes opportunities away from law-abiding, permitted sportsmen.

Anyone with information regarding the identity or location of this person of interest is urged to contact the JBSA Conservation Law Enforcement Office. Tips can be submitted by phone or text to 210-792-8510, or via email at jbsa.cleo.gamewardens@us.af.mil.
