LIVE OAK, Texas –

Officials with the City of Live Oak presented a National Military Appreciation Month proclamation to Joint Base San Antonio Ambassadors during the Live Oak City Council Meeting May 10.

National Military Appreciation Month, or NMAM, is celebrated in May and is a declaration that encourages U.S. citizens to observe the month in a symbol of unity. NMAM honors the current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces, including those who have died in the pursuit of freedom.
