JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas - U.S. Army World War II veteran Pfc. Reid F. Clanton (center) is celebrated at the historic Quadrangle at Joint Base San Antonio- Fort Sam Houston May 16, 2022, for his contributions while serving in the military during WWII. U.S. Army North leaders paid special tribute to the service of Clanton during a ceremony awarding him long-overdue medals, which included the Bronze Star Medal at the U.S. Army North headquarters.
