Inter-agency support vital to JBSA-Camp Bullis wildfire response

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-CAMP BULLIS, Texas - Members of the Texas A&M Forest Service support efforts to extinguish the fire in the demolition range area at Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis April 10, 2022. Other organizations assisting in containing the fire include JBSA Fire Emergency Services, Leon Springs Fire Department, San Antonio Fire Department, Bexar County Emergency Services District 10, Bexar County Emergency Services District 12, Bexar-Bulverde Fire Department, Bulverde Spring-Branch Fire Department, Texas A&M Forest Service, Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System, District 7 Fire Rescue, Bexar County Office of Emergency Management, Texas Division of Emergency Management, and Canyon Lake Fire Department. JBSA-Camp Bullis comprises more than 27,000 acres of ranges, training areas, and wild-lands on San Antonio’s Northside and is a crucial training location for service members from Joint Base San Antonio.
