New exhibits make history come alive at Airman Heritage Museum

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas - Plexiglass surrounds the Curtiss JN-4 “Jenny” bi-plane exhibit at the Airman Heritage Museum at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. The plexiglass was installed to replace a wooden railing that had been part of the exhibit and gives visitors a better, unobstructed view of the “Jenny” bi-plane in the exhibit. The installation of the plexiglass is one of several improvements made at the museum to bring a more realistic view of Air Force history and the contributions of Airman to visitors.
